guides on the internet Suggest you write down the captions manually

Some popular blogs even suggest, paying 5$ on fiverrAnd then There are companies

like rev, that are charging $1 for 1 minute of captions.I mean comon, We are

living in the world of AI andStill companies are charging for the product That

can be done for free.--- But guess what,You don’t have to do, any of

that.Right now, I’m using the same method to automatically generate Subtitles

for anyvideo. And yes,It’s free You don’t have to download any extra

softwareAnd works for both windows and MacNow, this is cool. But do you know

what’s awesome.Well, It also works with other languages than EnglishFor

instanceAgar me hindi me bolunga, Tub bhi ye kaam karenga.Although, to be

hones, it’s still not 100% accurateBut if you speak clearly, you can easily

80-90% accuracyAnd then, you have to spend a minute or two to givefinally

touch.---- Ok mrinal so what’s trick?Well, Like always, Google has lot of

tricks hidden in it selvesAnd one of those is the voice feature in Google

drive. Its default function is --You speak And google will convert that into

textBut if you try that, Most of your word will lost due to backgroundnoise

And you won’t get accuracyBut, what if it’s listening directly from the

videosI.e. the output of your computer becomes the input for Google voice to

textSounds interesting. So, let’s see how to do it.MacOS This time, let’s start

with Mac first. Most system don’t let you record your computer audioMaybe thats

because of piracy or somethingSo, you will have to download a third party

software called soundflowerThe steps are simpleOpen any browser And download

soundflowerI’ll post the link in the descriptionThen unzip it and install it

on your computerNext, you need to tell MacOS To use the output audio as

inputSo go to sound settings And set soundflower 2ch on both input andoutputIf

are wondering what this 64 ch is for?Well, I don’t know either But, what I do

know is it won’t work withthis. So stick with 2ch.On output and inputNow, fire

up Google chrome ( and yes, it only works in chrome)Open Google docsCreate a

new documentTools  Voice typingIn another tab, open youTube and play any

videoNow come back to Google drive Select your accentAnd there start

recordingAnd there you go.Like I said, It also works with other languagesSo,

let’s try hindiHowever, if you try this song It doesn’t work that wellBecause

of background musicBut if the song has no or little music Than it works

well.WindowsNow, let’s try this on windowsGo to your windows sound settings

And select recording deviceAnd there you should see stereo mix If you don’t

right click and turn onShow disable devicesAnd then st Stereo mix, as

default.Now, let’s check it.Open Chrome And create a new documentPlay a video

and start recording .Pretty cool right? However, if stereo mix is not supported

by your audio driverAnd these days, it’s hard to find this optionYou can check

out my other video,Tough, I’ve tested this with that method So, I’m not sure

how this is going to play.but, If you have a friend with macYou can always

Borrow it from him (buy them couple of drinks)Add caption to all your video at

once. It’s worth it.----So, this video is inspired from the comments I got

yesterdayIf you want me to reveal all my little known practice on youtubeJust

let me know500 likes and I’ll do it in my next video. So, thats pretty much it

I’ll see you in the next oneAnd like always Thanks for watching.
